Cucumber Bagels.

-Ingredients-
• 1 bag whole wheat mini bagels
• 8oz package whipped cream cheese
• 1/2 cup mayo
• 1 package dry ranch mix
• 1-2 cucumbers, peeled and sliced
• Dill weed

Mix the cream cheese, mayo and dry ranch together. Peel and slice the cucumber into 1 inch thick slices. Set out the mini bagel halves and spread with the cream cheese mixture. Top with a slice of cucumber and sprinkle with the sill weed. Serve and enjoy!
I love to put these out as an appetizer when we have company over. They are really easy and don't take much time to make! I hope you enjoy them!

Wedding Recap - Wednesday.

The Wednesday before the wedding we headed up to Mt. Dora with Nick's parents and checked into our hotel. Later that evening two of our bridesmaids, Nick's sisters, Gina and Lori, arrived into town along with our niece and nephews.
Almost every one in and attending the wedding stayed at the same hotel as us. My Aunt Cathy, Uncle Donald and cousins (and bridesmaids) Kiera and Kayla put together adorable welcome bags for all of our guests to get when they checked in.
Once Gina and Lori got to the hotel Wednesday night, the party started... and it didn't stop until Sunday!

Work Wedding Shower.

Since Nick and I met a work, everyone knows that we are together; not that we flaunt it (because we really don't). It just gets obvious over time. Also, our bosses are best friends and I know they talk about everything. Anyways, both of our teams threw us a surprise wedding shower on the Wednesday before our wedding. It was our last day of work until we got back from our honeymoon.
Even though we knew it was coming, we didn't let them know and played it off like we were surprised. It was a really nice gesture and we really appreciated it. They made a lot of sweet treats, we played games and they clinked their glasses to get us to kiss (which I have to say was pretty awkward for us since we are not ones to display much PDA). But we did kiss once per their request.
They decorated and took these pictures for us and also gave us some cards and gifts/money.

It was a really great end to our work week and an even better start to the days that we had ahead of us.

Couples Wedding Shower.

The first wedding event we had was our Couples Wedding Shower. My Aunt Cathy (also my Matron on Honor) and my Uncle Donald threw this shower for us in August 2012 at their house. We had all of our family (that live close enough) there.
We played several fun games and opened gifts.
We also ate some pretty yummy food!
The shower was such a great precursor to our wedding. It made it feel even more real that we were going to be getting married in just two short months. It was so nice of my Aunt and Uncle to put this great shower together for us. They did an awesome job and we are so thankful for them!

Wedding Recap Preview.

Well, it's been almost six months since our wedding day and I think it's about time share all of the details of our wedding weekend and our honeymoon with you. It was the most amazing time in my life. I couldn't wait for it to get here and then it went by way to fast!
Everything went so perfectly and we could not have asked for a better wedding. It was so special to have all of our loved ones at the same place celebrating our love for each other. Nick and I are so blessed and I cannot wait to relive our wedding and share it with you all!
I hope you are all ready for a bunch of wedding posts the next couple of weeks! I'm also going to put all of these posts on my wedding page if anyone ever wants to go back and look at them again. The first post you should be looking for is our Couples Wedding Shower that my Matron of Honor (Aunt Cathy) and Uncle Donald threw for us!
