Mushroom and Basil Crostini.

- Ingredients -
1 baguette loaf
1 tub light  garlic and herb cheese spread
1 tbs olive oil and 1/4 cup olive oil
8oz fresh baby portobello mushrooms, chopped
Fresh basil, chopped
salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice bread into 1/2 inch pieces.
Brush both sides of the bread with the 1/4 cup of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Chop mushrooms and basil leaves.
Bake bread for 8 minutes or until golden. Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat, add mushrooms and saute for 6 minutes stirring often.
Remove bread from oven and let cool.
Spread cheese onto bread.
Add a tablespoon of mushrooms.
Top with a pinch of basil.
This recipe makes 24 pieces.
